A Dash of Season to benefit Taylie Abbott

Taylie Abbott: a beautiful 4 year old girl with an amazing personality and a fighting spirit! It was so fun to photograph her!

In August 2009, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She is doing well, but needs your help. At www.adashofseason.blogspot.com, this lady has arranged for a $2 donation to go to Taylie just by posting this link on Facebook or Blog and letting her know! She doesn't even know Taylie or the Abbott family, but she wanted to help because she is a mom of sweet little girls too! I love her story. "100 Years of Art"

In celebration of USU's Art Department turning 100 this year, AVA is presenting multiple artists who are USU Alumni and who live in the Cache Valley. There are various types of works from Photographs to paintings to sculptures to ceramics so there is sure to be something that will catch everyone's eye.
 

Exhibit showing September 26th through November 1st 

Two Receptions:   
Opening Night September 26th  from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
   
Homecoming Artist Reception October 24th  from 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Alumni Show

I will be entering a couple pieces into the Alumni Show at the AVA Gallery (35 W. 100 S.  Logan, Utah).  The show opens the night of the September Gallery Walk (Sept 26 from 6 to 9 PM) and runs until Nov 1.  Cost is free.  It is a celebration of the 100 years of the Art Department and should be a great show.  

A New Adventure

So breaks a new adventure--something with which I am not unfamiliar, something with which I still approach with excitement and a bit of trepidation.
